Draughtsman Mechanical
The two year duration a candidate is trained on basic drafting terminology, students begin to develop multi-view drawings and learning about projection methods auxiliary views and section views Lettering tolerance metric construction technical sketching and orthographic projection, isometric drawing, oblique and perspective projection are also covered. Introduction of drawing of different fasteners, welds and locking devices as per specification mentioned in SP-46:2003 and use of CAD technology in ڇD environment. In Solid Works/AutoCAD Inventor/ 3D modeling environment the assignment is to create and plot assembly and detailed views of machine parts with dimensions, annotations, title block and bill of materials. In addition to above components the core skills components viz., workshop calculation & science, employability skills are also covered.

Electrician
During the one year duration a candidate is learn to read the job drawing, select the required base metal and filler metals, cut the metals by appropriate process, carry out edge preparation, setup the plant and do welding/Brazing on M.S, SS, Aluminium and Copper in different positions. On completion of each job the trainees will also evaluate their jobs by visual inspection, and identify the defects for further correction/improvement. The professional knowledge taught will be useful in understanding the principles of Welding, Brazing and Cutting process, use of jigsand Fixtures, distortion and methods of control, selection of consumables and to take precautionary measures for storage and handling and apply the same for executing the Cutting, Welding and Brazing.

Electronics Mechanic
During the two-year duration of Electronics Mechanic trade a candidate is trained solar panel installation Technician, Electronics Fitter, Electronic Mechanic, Radio Technician, optical fiber technician, Television and cable Television installer & Television service etc. Electronic Equipment Mechanic repairs electronic equipment, such as computers, industrial controls, transmitters, and telemetering control systems following blueprints and manufacturer’s specifications and using hand tools and test instruments, Tests faulty equipment and applies knowledge of functional operation of electronic units and systems to diagnose cause of malfunction Tests electronic components and circuits to locate defects using instruments, such as oscilloscopes signal generators, ammeters and voltmeters, Replaces defective components and wiring and adjusts mechanical parts using hand tools and soldering iron. Aligns, adjusts and calibrates testing instruments. Maintains records of repairs, calibrations and test.

Fitter
During the Two-year duration a candidate is trained on basic fitting and also imparted training on allied trades viz., Welding (Gas & Arc). In the fitting the skills imparted are sawing, Filling, marking, chiping, measurement, riveting, soldering, brazing, drilling and observation of all safety aspect is mandatory. Different drilling operations (through, blind, angular), remaining, offhand grinding, tapping, dieing, different fits viz., sliding fit, etc., scraping, fastening (nuts & bolts, riveting, studs, screws, etc.,). Making & using drill jigs, making of critical components, repair & maintenance of machinery like lathe, drill, grinding, bench drilling, inspection of machine tools, Accuracy testing of machine tools etc.

Interior Design and Decoration
The trainee learns 2D Software designs and makes drawing of different sizes in correct scale. The trainee will be able to draw various door & window frame and door -window designs. The trainee will be able to draw different types of layout designs for plumbing, lighting, Air Conditioning, etc. He/ she will be able to analyze & uses of paint, polish and varnish. The trainee also undergoes two weeks project work at the mid and end of the year which gives them more practical exposure and helps to build up confidence level.

Surveyor
During the two year duration a candidate is trained on acquainted with occupational safety health, PPE etc Observation of all safety aspects is mandatory. The practical part starts with basic drawing consisting of lettering, numbering, geometrical figure, symbols representations, Later the drawing skills imparted are drawing of different scales, projections, perform site survey and prepare a site plan using chain / tape, prismatic compass, perform Autocad drawing. Knowledge and application of Computer Aided Drawing has been introduced.

Welder
Welder is a mechanical engineering vocational trade. Trade duration is one year one year with two semesters of six months each. Trade course comprises mainly like welding skills and metal working techniques used in the exploration of metal sculpture; hot and cold working of steel, shielded metal arc welding, oxy-fuel and plasma arc cutting, weld design and finishing techniques; emphasized through hands on instruction and practice with the opportunity for creative expression and practical application.
